Rants on the Soap Box

My age is somewhere around retro or classic but well shy of antique just yet.

I am a native of western Washington (don't move here, it rains all the time)but I have lived elsewhere at times including Greece and England. I loved Greek food and loved just about everything about England, except the taxes!

I am a wanna be published author. I write in the Fantasy genre. I have a huge pool of material to write about, good for several prequels, sequels and spin-offs and therein lay the problem. I have five manuscripts going in various stages of construction, except completed. The story time line is expansive and multi generational.

I love period clothing and have sewn up a few outfits to wear to the occasional SCA event. I enjoy Scottish Country Dancing, Celtic art and music and most things British and Scottish. I have a sense of humor that tends to run toward light good-humored, Red Dwarf, Saiyuki, puns and midnight sillies. Sometimes you can’t take me anywhere. Fancy that.

Friending Policy: My Friends List is, for me, a Reading List of people I find interesting, funny and/or informative. I don't mind being friended and you are welcome to do so. If I don't friend you back instantly or at all it's not because I reject you but because I'm reaching my personal maximum Reading List capacity. I do pop over to see what you have to say every now and again though.

Warning: There will also be a selection of everyday rambles and my writing progress or not progress.

You are welcome to come over and play. I enjoy interesting, funny, and knowledgeable folks interested in writing and all kinds of other stuff.
